Ok so I have been stuck at the 25lb loss mark for what seems like FOREVER now.  I think I have hit a plateau.  Time for me to pull up the boot straps and get back in it and get in it hard!!!  I have been doing my exercising on a daily and consistent basis but I need to step it up in the food department.  I think I have been having to many little "snacks" here and there.  Even if they are somewhat healthy snacks, I still think I have been having too many.
So, today I propose to concentrate on what is going in my mouth and to make better choices.  I CAN do this!!!!

I am determined to have a good day with my food today.  So for breakfast I am starting with oatmeal and some yogurt with granola.  I packed a small salad for lunch and I plan on adding a half of a turkey sandwich or a half of a tuna sandwich to that.  Not sure what I will have for dinner.  I think a piece of fish or grilled chicken will do with some veggies.  Gotta go!

Moving Ahead

I went to my weigh-in and am down another pound.  I'm happy because I am back to the weight I was before the holidays.  So now its full steam ahead again.  I am aiming to lose at least 3lbs this week.
Been working out hard at the gym.  We will see what happens.
Been concentrating on eating a healthy breakfast and a healthy lunch.  Sometimes dinner time gets hard but if I am healthy throughout the day I don't feel too bad with a little slip up at dinner.

Kids are like sponges....

Today started like any other day...I woke up early and headed to the gym before starting my workday.  I wasn't really feeling it this morning so I just rode the exercise bike for 25 minutes.  Not sure why I felt so blah about working out this morning.
My daughter is 2 and she knows that I go to the gym everyday before work.  So last night we were laying in the bed and I was listening to her ramble on.  She tells me that she has to go to work tomorrow.  Then she says no wait, I have to go to the gym first.  I asked her what she was going to do at the gym and she says exercise and then stands up and shows me how she is going to do jumping jacks and knee bends!  She has heard me say all of this.  Gotta love this girl! She is absorbing all that I am trying to teach her.  :-)
I have an indoor bike trainer that I haven't used in AGES!!!  Well, thanks to Lisa and her boyfriend over at 110 pounds and counting I am motivated to get on the trainer and get a good workout in. Thanks to both of you.  I am hoping that I can get committed to being on the bike at home.

Down another 1.8 lbs last night and I am happy!  I am back in the gym hitting it hard.  When I am not exercising, I am thinking about exercising.  I think I am becoming obsessed with it.  More and more people are complimenting meat work about my weight loss.  I have to learn how to take the compliments.  Funny, but its a tough thing for me.  Oh well, I would rather have these nice compliments as it only makes me want to work harder.

Back In The Swing Of Things

Ok so its back to work, back to the gym, and time to get back to being consistent with my routine.  I truly enjoyed the Holiday season and all that went with it.
This morning I worked out on the treadmill and then the bike. I know I need to start incorporating some strength training into my routine but the machines seem a little intimidating to me.  One day I will get there.  I had yogurt mixed with high fiber cereal and some coffee.  So, the day is off to a good start.  Let's hope it stays that way.
